A Foreman Carpenter supervises and coordinates the activities of carpentry teams on construction, fit-out, or maintenance projects. The role involves overseeing woodworking tasks, ensuring quality workmanship, managing schedules, and maintaining safety standards on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate carpenters, helpers, and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of carpentry works.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Train and guide junior carpenters on proper methods and safe practices.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Maintain daily reports, material requests, and project documentation.
• Enforce workplace safety rules and site cleanliness.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a foreman or lead carpenter.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to work on-site.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards.
