CYTRIC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Foreman to lead field operations across electrical, mechanical, plumbing (MEP), and general construction projects, with a strong focus on breaker testing and power system maintenance. The Foreman will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating daily site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews performing electrical breaker testing, maintenance, and installation
- Oversee execution of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general construction work scopes
- Coordinate daily job site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide field execution
- Perform and oversee breaker testing, troubleshooting, and reporting (low and medium voltage systems)
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and project-specific requirements
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and enforce site safety practices
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and test records
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
- Ensure quality control and proper installation practices across all trades
- Support commissioning, startup, and final project closeout activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical construction and maintenance, with foreman or supervisory experience
- Strong hands-on experience with breaker testing (LV/MV), switchgear, and power distribution systems
- Working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and general construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams and construction drawings
- Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures (e.g., insulation resistance, contact resistance, trip testing)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SCADA, control systems, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of commissioning procedures and reporting
- Experience working on government or mission-critical facilities (e.g., hospitals, data centers)
- Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors efficiently
Work Environment
- Field-based role with work at construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings
- May require night work, weekend shifts, or outage coordination
- Ability to lift equipment and work in physically demanding environments
Pay: From $88,000.00 per year
