Job Summary:

As the on-site Foreman, you will be the direct link between project management and the on-the-ground workforce. You will be responsible for supervising, directing, and coordinating the daily activities of all crew members, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with the approved designs, schedules, and specifications. Your role is critical to maintaining a safe, productive, and well-organized work environment, while expertly managing resources and resolving any on-site challenges that arise.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Leadership: Lead and motivate the on-site team, including carpenters, masons, painters, and other skilled laborers. Provide clear instructions, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
• Project Execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations of interior fit-out projects. This includes supervising installations of gypsum, partitions, joinery, flooring, painting, and other finishing works.
• Quality & Safety Control: Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee all work meets the company's quality standards and project specifications. Enforce strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Coordination & Communication: Act as the main point of contact for the site engineer, project manager, and subcontractors. Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, and effectively communicate progress, issues, and daily reports to the management team.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues, such as material delays, design discrepancies, or logistical challenges. Make quick, informed decisions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Resource Management: Monitor and manage the use of materials, tools, and equipment on-site to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources. Track daily attendance and work progress of the crew.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor, with a strong focus on interior design and fit-out projects.
• Education: A diploma or vocational certification in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, civil works, or construction management) is required. A bachelor's degree is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and finishing techniques. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to manage a diverse team, work under pressure, and solve problems creatively is a must.
• Licensing & Transport: A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for this position, as the role requires frequent travel to different project sites.
• Location: Candidates must be based in the UAE and have a strong understanding of local regulations and market practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
