Foreman, Landscape Hardscape

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape to lead and oversee the installation, construction, and finishing of hardscape elements within landscape projects. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of hardscape work—such as masonry, concrete finishing, fabrication, and installation—are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, and uphold quality standards to deliver exceptional outdoor environments for our clients. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of skilled craftsmen in the installation of hardscape features including pavers, retaining walls, concrete structures, masonry elements, and decorative finishes.
• Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to blueprints and schematics.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades such as plumbing and electrical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control standards are met during all phases of hardscape installation.
• Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication equipment necessary for complex installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project workflows accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, materials used, and labor hours for estimating and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on hardscape installation or related fields such as masonry, concrete finishing, or landscaping.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
• Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery relevant to landscape hardscape projects.
• Familiarity with construction inspection procedures and quality assurance practices.
• Experience working with plumbing systems, electrical components related to outdoor installations, roofing (for site structures), and restoration work is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards on-site.
• Knowledge of materials such as stucco, tile laying, caulking techniques, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet installation, framing carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, welding basics, masonry techniques including concrete forming and plastering.

Pay: $24.94 - $30.03 per hour
