Foreman – Marine / Piping Fabrication / Drydock

We are seeking an experienced Foreman with strong skills in piping fabrication, marine repair, and dry‑dock operations. The candidate must be a Diploma holder and able to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings. This role involves supervising technicians, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work activities for piping, fabrication, and marine repair teams.
• Assist in planning and executing dry‑dock operations.
• Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, work packages, and technical documents.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials for daily tasks.
• Ensure all fabrication and installation work meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily reports for Supervisor/Engineer.
• Coordinate with shipyard teams, contractors, and vessel crew.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Foreman in marine, shipyard, or fabrication work.
• Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, marine systems, and vessel repair.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings.
• Good leadership, communication, and team‑management skills.
• Familiarity with marine safety standards and shipyard procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with offshore vessels, barges, or commercial ships.
• Knowledge of welding, steel fabrication, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
