Foreman – Polisher / Painter for Joinery

We are a well-established joinery and interiors company delivering high-quality projects across residential and commercial sectors. We are looking for an experienced Painter Foreman to lead our polishing / painting team, ensuring a top-tier finish across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate the polishing / painting team on-site and in the workshop

· Oversee surface preparation, spray painting, brush and roller application on timber joinery or site finishes

· Ensure all finishes meet quality standards and client expectations

· Manage daily schedules and allocate tasks effectively

· Conduct quality control inspections and rectify any defects

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Train and mentor junior painters and apprentices

· Ensure correct materials and equipment are used and maintained

· Track progress and report back to management on timelines and issues

Requirements:

· Proven 3-5 years of experience as a polisher / painter foreman or lead polisher / painter (ideally in joinery, fit-out, or construction)

· Strong knowledge of polishing / painting techniques including spray finishes, stains, lacquers, and two-pack systems

· Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

· Excellent eye for detail and quality

· Ability to read and interpret drawings/specs

· Experience in high-end residential or commercial projects
