Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Steel Erection Foreman to join our professional construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and installation of steel structures on various construction sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every step. Your expertise in interpreting blueprints and construction management software will be essential to successfully coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades. Responsibilities
- Erect, install, and assemble steel frameworks according to detailed blueprints and project specifications.
- Use construction management software such as ProCore, Safety Pro, and track project progress.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Operate tools and equipment safely on-site.
- Collaborate closely with project management teams to adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate with team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe work environment following OSHA regulations.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the erection process to ensure compliance with engineering standards and client requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on steel erection or structural assembly.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, and construction estimating principles.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools.
- Supervising experience or management skills in overseeing teams on large-scale projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for working at heights and around heavy equipment.
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality control and safety protocols.
- Certification in OSHA safety training is required.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
