Forensic Accountant

As we continue to scale our operations across Qatar and the region, we are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Forensic Accountant to ensure our financial integrity remains as solid as our steel.

The Role

This isn’t your typical "desk-and-ledger" accounting job. We are looking for a financial detective. You will go beyond the surface of the balance sheet to identify discrepancies, mitigate risks, and streamline our internal controls. You’ll be the gatekeeper of our fiscal health, combining accounting expertise with investigative intuition.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigative Auditing: Conduct deep-dive analyses of financial records to detect inconsistencies, fraud, or mismanagement.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify vulnerabilities in our procurement and supply chain processes and implement robust "steel-clad" internal controls.
• Litigation Support: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for legal proceedings or insurance claims if required.
• Data Reconstruction: Reconstruct complex financial sequences to provide a clear picture of historical spending and asset allocation.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial operations align with Qatari Commercial Law and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

What We’re Looking For

• The Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) is highly preferred.
• The Experience: 3–5 years of experience in forensic accounting or specialized auditing, ideally within the manufacturing or construction sectors.
• The Mindset: A "skeptical" eye for detail. You notice the patterns others miss.
• The Tech: Proficiency in advanced Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Odoo).
• Communication: Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage in the Qatari market.
