The Holistic Hive is expanding its Forensic Services and is seeking skilled clinicians to support families through therapy, evaluations, and reunification work.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about trauma-informed care, family systems, and working at the intersection of mental health and the legal system.

Our forensic clinicians work closely with courts, attorneys, child protective services, and families to provide structured therapeutic services that prioritize the wellbeing of children.

What You'll Do

Provide specialized services for families involved in court or child welfare systems, including:

• Individual therapy for children impacted by family conflict, abuse allegations, or separation
• Therapeutic support for non-offending caregivers
• Court-Ordered Reunification therapy between children and parents
• Trauma-informed family therapy and parent-child interventions
• Clinical assessments and forensic-informed evaluations
• Detailed documentation appropriate for court-related cases
• Collaboration with attorneys, guardians ad litem, CPS, and other professionals
• Participation in multidisciplinary case coordination

Some clinicians may also assist with:

• Parenting capacity assessments
• Family functional assessments
• Mental injury evaluations
• Reunification readiness assessments

What Makes This Work Unique

This is not traditional outpatient therapy.

Our forensic clinicians work with families navigating high-conflict divorce, child welfare involvement, and complex legal systems. The work requires clinicians who can remain neutral, grounded, and ethically rigorous while supporting families through difficult transitions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
• Maryland license or license eligibility (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, etc.)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or families
• Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to navigate complex family systems and conflict

Preferred:

• Experience with court-involved families or child welfare cases
• Training in reunification therapy or attachment-based work
• Trauma training (EMDR, somatic therapies, IFS, etc.)
• Experience collaborating with legal or government systems

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
