FOREX ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at Global Capital Market Limited, Dubai Office , a leading Forex broking firm in UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the financial health of the organization. This role requires expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and understanding the unique dynamics of the Forex trading industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and Forex-specific compliance standards.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including tax returns, audits, and regulatory reports.
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities for financial compliance matters.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Manage invoicing, collections, and payments to vendors and clients.
• Reconcile and maintain accounts receivable and payable ledgers.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategies.

Risk Management:

• Monitor financial risks, including currency fluctuations and market trends.
• Implement measures to mitigate potential financial exposure in Forex trading.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with traders, compliance officers, and other departments to align financial strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on financial matters.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA preferred).
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the Forex or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Forex trading operations and relevant regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
