Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Role Purpose Statement:

⮚ The incumbent will be responsible To operate forklifts and related material-handling equipment safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of shipments within the warehouse premises in accordance with company safety and operational standards within TCI Express Ltd.

Main Accountabilities:

ü Operate forklift and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in compliance with company and safety regulations.

ü Load, unload, and stack consignments/materials from vehicles and storage areas.

ü Ensure safe handling of express cargo and prevent any damage during movement.

ü Perform routine inspection of forklift (battery/oil/brake/horn/lights) before and after operations.

ü Report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements to the supervisor immediately.

ü Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to warehouse operations and safety.

ü Assist warehouse staff in material arrangement and documentation when required.

ü Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned area and equipment.

ü Adhere strictly to TCI Express safety, PPE, and housekeeping guidelines.

Qualification& Experience:-

Ø Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass (Matriculation).

Job location is Pune/Tajnagar Haryana

Salary Range-15k-18k

Ø Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in forklift operation, preferably in logistics, courier, or warehouse environment.

Ø License: Valid Forklift Operator’s License / MHE Driving Certificate (mandatory).

Ø Preference: Candidates having experience in reputed logistics or express cargo companies.

Work Conditions: Ø Shift-based working (Day/Night).Ø Warehouse and yard operations environment. Ø Use of PPE (helmet, safety shoes, reflective jacket, gloves, etc.) mandatory. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

⮚ Knowledge of forklift controls, safety procedures, and load capacity.

⮚ Ability to identify and prevent operational risks.

⮚ Basic understanding of warehouse layout and material movement.

⮚ Physically fit and alert during operations.

⮚ Team player with disciplined and safety-oriented behavior.
