Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction and practical forklift operation training tailored to adult learners across diverse industries such as manufacturing, construction, automotive diagnostics, HVAC/R, aircraft maintenance, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and maintenance.
• Assess trainee progress through evaluations, demonstrations, and practical assessments to ensure competency in forklift operation and safety protocols.
• Maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing safety procedures aligned with OSHA standards and industry regulations.
• Keep detailed records of training sessions, trainee progress, certifications awarded, and compliance documentation.

Experience

• Proven experience in teaching or training adults in technical or vocational settings with a focus on forklift operation or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, construction practices, automotive repair diagnostics, HVAC/R systems including air conditioning and boiler systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing techniques, welding procedures, mechanical systems, and maintenance operations is preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts or similar industrial equipment is required.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
• Must be a certified forklift trainer.
