Forklift operator

• Material Handling: Safely loading, unloading, and transporting goods and materials using forklifts and other industrial vehicles.
• Inventory Management: Moving, locating, stacking, and counting inventory, including using radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track items.
• Order Fulfillment: Picking and preparing orders for shipment, including shrink-wrapping and securing pallets.
• Safety and Maintenance: Performing daily safety checks on equipment, reporting any defects or potential hazards, and conducting basic maintenance.
• Work Area Maintenance: Keeping the work environment clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Stock Rotation: Rotating stock to ensure the oldest items are used or shipped first.
• Equipment Operation: Proficiency in operating sit-down, stand-up, and other types of forklifts and industrial trucks.
• Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA standards, to ensure the safety of themselves and others.
• Inventory Tracking: Ability to use RF scanners and other equipment to manage inventory records accurately.
• Physical Stamina: Good general physical condition to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting or manual handling.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in handling materials and securing loads, as well as accuracy in maintaining records.
• Basic Math Skills: To weigh products and perform other necessary calculations.
