Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating industrial forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise safely and efficiently. This role requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, and warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or storage areas.
• Move materials to storage areas, pallets, or containers according to inventory requirements.
• Inspect forklifts daily before use and report any mechanical issues or damages.
• Maintain records of inventory movement and update warehouse management systems.
• Assist in organizing warehouse space and ensuring proper product storage.
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse data systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
