Job Description: Forklift Operator

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, ship, and receive raw materials and finished goods using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in designated areas within the facility.
• Transport materials to various workstations within the facility as per operational requirements.
• Secure loads properly before transportation to ensure safety.
• Follow the instructions of the Production Executive regarding material requirements, movements, and deliveries in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area by removing empty pallets, wooden crates, plastic bags, and other debris.
• Move and load hazardous waste under the direction of the Production Executive or Safety Officer.
• Identify and report damages or deficiencies in packaged materials to the Production Executive.
• Maintain forklift and related equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and recommending necessary repairs.
• Inspect machinery regularly to ensure operational safety and coordinate maintenance activities with the Maintenance Team.
• Carry out daily pre- and post-operation inspections of the forklift and ensure proper maintenance, including recharging, refueling, cleaning, oiling, and lubricating as required.
• Schedule vehicles for maintenance and repairs and maintain relevant records.
• Adhere to company policies, operational standards, and legal regulations to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Identify workplace safety hazards and immediately report them to the Production Executive.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the facility.
• Willing to work in shifts (day/night) and extra hrs.

Requirements:

· Education: Minimum High School Certificate or equivalent.

· Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

· Experience in chemical or industrial plants will be an added advantage.

· Licensing: Valid UAE Forklift Operator License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,900.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
