Forklift Operator

Location: Central Point, OR (Onsite)

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 pm

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in our operations, driving success and supporting our mission of environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Operate with Precision: Drive forklifts to seamlessly transport vehicles, parts, and materials within our bustling auto wrecking yard.
• Safety First: Execute tasks with the utmost care, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
• Organization Mastery: Assist in inventory management, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of parts and materials.
• Yard Maintenance: Keep our yard pristine and organized, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
• Communication is Key: Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintenance Mindset: Conduct routine checks on forklifts, reporting any issues promptly for swift resolution.

Position Requirements:

• Proven driver in a similar environment.
• Certification Credentials: Possession or prior possession of a valid forklift certification.
• Safety Savvy: Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, prioritizing safety above all else.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Physical Aptitude: Physical agility and capability to lift heavy objects.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. On-the-job experience is highly valued.
