Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator – Warehouse
Department: Operations / Warehouse
Reports to: Dispatcher

Role Overview
Responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient movement, loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing of goods in the warehouse using a forklift or other material-handling equipment. The job directly impacts inventory accuracy, order speed, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts to load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and racking systems
Stack and organize products safely and efficiently on racks or pallets
Support picking, packing, and dispatch operations when needed
Conduct daily equipment checks and basic troubleshooting of the forklift
Report any damages, safety risks, or equipment issues immediately
Maintain clear aisles, ensure proper labeling, and stock placement
Follow FIFO/FEFO or other stock rotation rules as required
Assist with stock counts, audits, and cycle counting when assigned
Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and warehouse rules

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Zero safety violations or incidents
Accuracy in product handling

Equipment care and maintenance compliance
Attendance and punctuality

Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid forklift license or certification
1–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Ability to lift, move, and handle goods safely over long shifts
Basic understanding of warehouse layouts and safety protocols
Ability to read labels and follow simple instructions in English
Physically fit for warehouse environment (long standing hours)

Work Environment
Warehouse / Distribution Center
Rotational shifts including nights and weekends if required

Safety Responsibility (Non-Negotiable)
Always operate at safe speed
Never overload the forklift
Use full PPE at all times

Salary package: up to AED 3200 depends on experience
