Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking an Experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at a leading paper manufacturing company located in JAFZA. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of UAE experience in forklift operation, a valid UAE license, and any relevant technical or safety certifications.

Responsibilities & Main Duties :

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, bobcats, roll clamps, and bale clamps.
• Load, unload, and transport materials such as waste paper bales, paper rolls, pallets, and other heavy goods.
• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and positioning of materials to prevent damage.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain adherence to all workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of moved goods.
• Handle materials with care to avoid product and equipment damage.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and production teams for smooth operations.
• Perform minor maintenance checks, including checking oil, fuel, and hydraulics.
• Ensure cleanliness of the equipment and work area after each shift.
• Follow proper procedures for loading/unloading trucks and warehouse storage.
• Secure loads properly before transportation to prevent shifting or tipping.
• Report any workplace hazards, accidents, or near-misses immediately.
• Participate in periodic training and skill development sessions to stay updated on best practices.
• Adhere to all safety procedures established by the company.
• Wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Immediately report any hazardous situations, incidents, or injuries to the supervisor.
• Participate in safety training and refresher courses as mandated by the company.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of UAE experience in forklift operation.
• Valid UAE forklift license.
• Technical or relevant certificates in forklift operation (e.g., OSHA or equivalent certifications).
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy materials.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
