Forklift Operator

Adsync Technologies is seeking an experienced Forklift Specialistfor a contract with DLA Ancillary Services. Work will be performed on-site in Scotia, New York.

The position requires manual handling of stored commodities and movement of stored commodities utilizing operating equipment. These commodities may be stored in drums, bags, boxes, flasks, kegs, or other types of containers that are stacked on pallets. These commodities may also be stored as individual pieces that are banded into bundles/lifts or as loose/bulk material segregated into piles. Services will be performed both outdoors and inside warehouses. Work schedule will be Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm unless directed by the customer.

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for oversight of warehouse materials:

Experience:

· Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials to production areas and finished goods to storage or shipping.

· Load and unload trailers, inspect incoming shipments for damage, and verify packing slips.

· Track, label, and document inventory movement, including conducting cycle counts and using warehouse management systems.

· Perform pre-shift forklift inspections, identify safety hazards, and follow OSHA and company safety protocols.

· Minimum of five (5) years working on a team responsible for property/asset or material accountability.

· Strong attention to detail

· Valid Forklift License to operate a 6K, gas-operated forklift

· Current Operator’s License

· Must be able to work inside and outdoors year-round

· Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

· Other duties as assigned

· SCA WD Rate of $24.47 per hour and Health & Welfare rate of $5.09 per hour up to 40 hours will be applied to benefits

Pay: $24.47 - $29.56 per hour
