Job Overview

A Reach Truck Operator is responsible for operating a specialized forklift known as a reach truck, designed for stacking and retrieving goods in warehouses and distribution centers.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Operation of Reach Truck

• Safely operate a reach truck to move, lift, stack, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Inspect the reach truck before use to ensure it is in safe working condition.

2. Material Handling

• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas using the reach truck.
• Place materials in designated storage areas and ensure proper stock rotation.

3. Inventory Management

• Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate product handling records.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.

4. Safety Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety training and maintain awareness of potential hazards.

5. Maintenance & Cleaning

• Perform routine maintenance checks on the reach truck and report mechanical issues.
• Keep the work area clean and organized for efficiency and safety.

6. Team Collaboration

• Coordinate loading and unloading activities with warehouse staff.
• Communicate effectively regarding inventory movements and stock levels.

7. Quality Control

• Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and quality.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.

8. Record Keeping

• Maintain logs of daily activities, material movements, and equipment usage.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, especially in loading, unloading, stickering, or shrink wrapping.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines.
• Attention to detail in handling goods and labeling products.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
• Willingness to follow instructions and company policies.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
