Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Zanesville, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately moving and stacking products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation.
• Ability to operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
