Forklift Operator (Sit Down)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations by efficiently moving and storing materials. This role requires hands-on experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts, a strong attention to safety, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit down forklifts in warehouse and distribution settings
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks and trailers
• Transport, stack, and store materials in designated locations
• Accurately track inventory movements and complete required documentation or system updates
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating sit down forklifts
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain site certification
• Strong safety awareness and proven ability to follow procedures
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• MUST pass a background check and pass a drug test

Shift Details

• Timing: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $18/hr
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241, USA
