Forklift Operator Warehouse / CDL

Malnove Inc., a family-owned, nationwide folding carton manufacturer, seeks a Forklift Operator for its Clearfield, UT facility. We have been part of the packaging community for over 70 years and in that time, we have become an essential part of America’s supply chain. The recent development of COVID-19 has increased the demand for consumer goods and the need for folding cartons.

Forklift Operator / CDL Warehouse Duties:

Responsible for daily picking/pulling and storing all inventory and loading and unloading trucks and warehouse pallets, and on roll stock paper board (1000’s of pounds) and finished goods safely, accurately and efficiently; recording movement of inventory accurately. An example of duties include, using forktruck and/or high reach clamp truck to:

• Unload inbound materials (roll stock)
• Transfer loads in warehouse using bar code reader.
• Load trucks and record with bar code reader
• Warehouse pallets/rolls and record location with bar code reader.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on fork trucks.
• Drive Trucks between warehouses.

Forklift Operator / CDL Warehouse Shifts / Availability:

• Shift 3 pm - 11pm
• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedules.
• *Overtime available*

Forklift Operator / CDL Warehouse Requirements / Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1 year of experience operating a forklift
• Able to operate a RF unit or computer
• Able to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Able to understand written and verbal instructions
• Customer service skills
• Problem solving skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Forklift Operator / CDL Compensation / Benefits:

• $23.38-$30.00/hr Depending on Experience
• 2nd shift differential $0.75/hr
