Formulation Scientist

Job Summary : We at Dot & Key are seeking a meticulous and experienced formulation scientist to join our formulation team.

Key Responsibilities :

• End to end responsible for developing skincare and cosmetic products. Should be able to develop the products independently.
• Interface on all project activities starting with formulation development, sensory evaluation, manufacturing process and stability.
• In depth knowledge in suncare moisturizer, serum, rinse off and lip care products formulation. Should have knowledge in the latest formats and technologies in technology space.
• Manage the product development process from formulation to final approval.
• Oversee the product processing and manufacturing to maximize output.
• Generate and maintain a product database for substantiating claims regarding the safety and efficacy of produced products for both the national and international market.
• Effectively document all findings, writeups, protocols and other authorization regarding products, publication.
• Express a high degree of flexibility and availability.

Required candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Chemistry/Cosmetic Technology/Chemical Engineering/ Oil technology/Pharmacology/Pharmaceutics.
• Experience: 4-5 years’ experience in formulation development of personal care products for e.g. sunscreen, moisturizer, lip care, serums etc.
