Formwork Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Formwork Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the formwork construction industry, strong technical drawing interpretation skills, and the ability to develop efficient and practical formwork solutions for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop formwork design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to determine suitable formwork systems and solutions.
• Perform formwork quantity take-offs and estimation.
• Coordinate with the sales, production, and site teams to ensure project requirements are achieved.
• Propose safe, practical, and cost-effective formwork solutions.
• Modify and improve existing formwork designs when required.
• Ensure drawings and calculations comply with project specifications and engineering standards.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field).

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Formwork Construction Industry.
• Strong understanding of formwork systems and applications.
• Experience working with formwork products from various manufacturers.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience in estimating formwork requirements and quantities.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly in formwork design.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Valid UAE Driving License.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Arabic and English language skills are preferred.

Salary Package

AED 4,000 – AED 6,000 per month
