As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll transform our internal stack, create products that enable us to function with minimal support roles, and then become a client-facing consultant deploying AI across the GCC.

About Forward Deployed Engineers

A forward deployed engineer (FDE) is a software engineer who works directly with customers, often embedding within their teams to implement, customize, and optimize complex technology products in real-world environments. FDEs serve as a bridge between core product engineering and the client, blending technical expertise with deep customer interaction to solve challenging, domain-specific problems.

Key objectives

• Internal Automation & Tools:  Deliver at least six major internal automation products within six months, driving adoption and eliminating support bottlenecks.
• Process Velocity:  Ship improvements to software methodology and delivery every month, assessed by shorter release cycles and higher solution quality.
• Consulting Delivery:  Within your first year, deploy two custom AI solutions for enterprise clients, managing the relationship, design, and implementation end-to-end.
• Business Impact:  Consistently translate customer business needs into impactful technical solutions, achieving high satisfaction and repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and launch internal tools and SaaS products that automate Keops’ core company operations.
• Identify business opportunities we can turn into products
• Lead customer-facing consulting projects, from requirements gathering with C-level stakeholders to shipping and supporting tailored AI solutions.
• Engage monthly in process review and propose tangible improvements to delivery speed and software excellence.
• Evaluate new technology, integrate best practices, and advocate Keops’ automation-centric culture within and outside the team.
• Mentor incoming team members, sharing automation and engineering excellence.

Required Competencies

• Autonomous, fast learner, and strong initiative. You hate being told what to do.
• Full-stack software engineer. Outstanding at building user friendly software from scratch.
• Excellent business sense, able to bridge technical and executive client needs.
• Good design and UX sense. You can craft good looking UI without relying on anyone.
• Reliable, optimistic, and driven by customer value.
• Bahraini nationals preferred
