A Coming of Age Foster Family Agency services as a treatment foster family agency which provides case management, therapeutic and support services to dependent minors and non-minor dependents of the Court who are between the ages of 0-20 years. A Coming of Age is a private non-profit organization whose primary function is to connect children in the foster care system to the care, education and support needed for their individual growth and development. Children and the families they are connected to are supported with services such as foster care placement, financial assistance, case management, training and linkages to community resources.

- Consultation and coordination with collaboratives;
- Planning for treatment, reunification or permanent placement;
- Provide Case Management services to children placed in foster homes, develop written treatment plans for the child including a Needs and Service Plan on an initial and quarterly basis as well as a discharge summary;
- Maintain current, timely and complete documentation for file records;
- Compliance with the Title 22 regulations and agency policies; and
- On-call after-hours shifts; and
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the administrator or supervisor.
The Agency Social Worker will possess the following skills:
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, office personnel, other employees and the general public;
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret manuals and office documents;
- Ability to define problems, gather, transcribe and post data, analyze, synthesize and classify information, and draw valid conclusions;
- Ability to work independently and with others – including other employees, clients and members of the public - in face-to-face and telephonic contexts;
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and manage time, meet deadlines and perform duties under time constraints;
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work demands;
- Maintain high level of concentration and attention to detail for extended periods of time;
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints;
- Maintain a high level of ethical and professional standards in accordance with agency and community policy.
- Ability to drive anywhere within the Inland Empire.
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree Required in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Background clearances via Live Scan.
Clean DMV driving record.
1st Aid/CPR Certification for Infant and Adult.
Employment Physical with TB test and drug test.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
