Foul Drainage Engineer

About the Role
We are recruiting a Foul Drainage Engineer on behalf of a confidential governmental roads and infrastructure project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed design of wet utility systems — including foul drainage, stormwater, and sewage networks — within a large-scale road infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of foul drainage, stormwater, and sewage systems in accordance with project specifications and Qatar standards
  • Produce and check engineering drawings, hydraulic calculations, and technical design reports for wet utility works
  • Develop and review drainage network layouts, pipe sizing, and system schematics
  • Coordinate design outputs with road design teams, utility authorities, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure all designs comply with the requirements and applicable to Qatar regulations
  • Review contractor and shop drawings, method statements, and ITP documents against approved designs
  • Support interdisciplinary design coordination between drainage, roads, and structures teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in wet utilities and drainage design
  • Strong background in foul drainage, stormwater, and sewage system design
  • Proven experience on roads and infrastructure projects
  • Valid MMUP/UPDA certificate — mandatory
  • Valid Qatar ID (QID) — mandatory
  • GCC experience — preferred
