Foundation Carpenter

Position Overview

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Journeyman Carpenter with 5+ years of experience in residential foundations and framing. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work — with experience across multiple construction trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and install wood framing for residential structures
• Set and pour concrete foundations, slabs, and footings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with additional trades as needed (e.g., drywall, finish carpentry, minor plumbing, or roofing)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
• Strong background in framing and concrete work
• Multi-trade experience (such as drywall, trim, roofing, or general carpentry) strongly preferred
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
• Ability to read blueprints and follow directions independently
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

• Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule
• Opportunities for overtime and advancement
