The Role

We are seeking a Founding Litigation Attorney licensed in Massachusetts to serve as the firm’s lead litigator and day-to-day operator. This role is ideal for a trial-ready litigator looking for a managing partner–level opportunity without a buy-in.

You will:

  • Lead franchise and commercial litigation (first-chair trials in MA; supervise other jurisdictions via local counsel).
  • Oversee drafting, motions, discovery, and trial prep (with full paralegal + AI-driven support).
  • Run the firm’s litigation practice with autonomy and strategic freedom.
  • Help shape and scale a law firm designed to become the largest and most innovative in the world.

Compensation & Upside

  • Base Salary: $175,000–$200,000.
  • Profit Share: 10% of annual firm EBITDA (paid as a performance bonus).
  • Support: Full AI legal tech stack, global paralegal team, and steady business pipeline from Everest Franchise Development.

This model allows you to earn BigLaw partner money without a buy-in, while building a firm from the ground up.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • 7+ years of litigation experience; franchise, commercial, or employment law background preferred.
  • First-chair trial experience (state or federal).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — ready to lead and grow a lean, high-leverage practice.
  • Interest in using technology and remote legal support to practice more efficiently.
