POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re hiring a Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive top-of-funnel pipeline, experiment with new revenue motions, and play a meaningful role in shaping how sales is done at Packiyo.
This is not a traditional “dial-all-day” SDR role. You’ll own inbound and outbound lead generation, collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and help build scalable sales processes from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow into a closing role as the company scales.
Compensation: $85,000 OTE ($65,000 base + $20,000 variable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting (email, calls, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, creative outreach)
- Qualify inbound leads and convert strong fits into high-quality sales opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing to test messaging, campaigns, and new acquisition channels
- Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success and Product to refine ICP, use cases, and positioning
- Work with partner sales reps, consultants, and referral partners to identify, qualify, and co-sell opportunities
- Own light partner activation efforts (intro calls, opportunity triage, feedback loops)
- Build and maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and reporting dashboards in the CRM
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly activity, pipeline creation, and revenue-related KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in shipping & logistics / WMS / ecommerce preferred
- A builder mindset - you enjoy taking initiative and figuring things out
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders
- Curiosity about SaaS, operations, and how businesses scale
- Coachable, resilient, and competitive in a healthy, team-first way
- Strong interest in growing into an AE role
