TL;DR: Dots is looking for a Founding Staff Engineer, that will work closely with their CTO to architect and scale the technical foundation of MeAgain.

• Based in NYC or willing to relocate - this is an in-person role

• A full-stack builder with a proven record of shipping and scaling production apps across mobile and backend.
• Deep React Native experience, including advanced performance profiling and optimization.
• Strong backend engineering skills: API design, data modeling, deployment, and scalability.
• A product-minded engineer who obsesses over how things feel in users’ hands.
• Sharp architectural instincts - you move fluidly between mobile, backend, and infrastructure.
• Comfortable operating with high agency, high urgency, and a high bar for quality.

• Experience with high-fidelity mobile animations (Reanimated, Lottie, Rive).
• Background in health tech, behavior change, gamification, or AI-driven products.
• You’ve been a technical founder or early engineer at a high-growth startup.
