Purpose of the Role
To ensure uninterrupted foundry operations by maintaining all plant equipment, utilities, and facilities in safe and optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of foundry equipment.
- Maintain induction furnaces, molding lines, sand plants, shot blasting machines, cranes, compressors, and heat-treatment furnaces.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and statutory inspections.
- Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and legal requirements.
- Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment availability.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and improvement logs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–8 years of maintenance experience in a foundry or heavy engineering industry.
- Hands-on experience with furnace maintenance and foundry machinery preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and CMMS.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency breakdowns.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
