At Valpak, a leader in direct marketing innovation, we are redefining how businesses connect with consumers. As we continue to invest in technology-driven insights, we're looking for an FP&A Analyst with a strong background in data visualization and reporting tools - particularly Power BI and Salesforce Analytics—to transform financial data into actionable business intelligence.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional FP&A position. While core responsibilities such as forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis remain essential, this role places a significant emphasis on automated reporting, dashboard creation, and data storytelling using Power BI, MicroStrategy, and Salesforce Analytics. You’ll work across teams to modernize financial reporting processes and provide timely, accurate analytics that shape key decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize financial dashboards and visual reports using Power BI; MicroStrategy or Salesforce Analytics experience preferred.
  • Maintain and enhance dynamic models to support budget planning, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
  • Translate complex datasets into digestible visual narratives that empower leadership with real-time performance insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align business operations with financial objectives.
  • Identify trends, investigate variances, and recommend strategic adjustments backed by data.
  • Support automation of reporting processes, improving scalability and consistency of financial deliverables.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Hybrid backgrounds such as Finance-to-Tech are welcomed.
  • Experience: 2-5 years in financial planning & analysis, with hands-on experience building interactive dashboards.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Required: Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel (power query, macros, pivot tables, VBA).
    • Preferred: Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau, Salesforce Analytics or similar BI platforms; ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an eye for data integrity.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.

Why Join Us?
Be part of a transformation-focused finance team where your technical skills in Power BI and BI tools can directly influence strategic decisions. You'll gain exposure to executive-level decision-making and play a pivotal role in scaling Valpak’s reporting capabilities.
