FP&A Director

Role Summary

The FP&A Director is responsible for driving financial insight, strategic forecasting, budgeting, unit economics, and performance analysis. This role ensures the company makes data driven decisions and that financial performance aligns with business strategy.

This role does not handle accounting or treasury operations. Instead, they partner with Accounting for accurate data and with Treasury for capital and funding visibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

. Own the full budgeting cycle and quarterly forecasting.

. Build financial models that incorporate loan flows, payment plans, risk, expected losses, investor economics, and partner commissions.

. Produce long-range strategic plans.

2. Performance Analysis & Reporting

. Lead monthly business reviews with C-level, presenting insights and action points.

. Develop dashboards covering Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Customer Life-Time Value (LTV), contribution margin, default rates, NonPerforming Loans (NPLs), loan portfolio returns, conversion funnel, and revenue performance.

. Identify performance gaps and propose corrective strategies.

3. Strategic Financial Analysis

. Conduct detailed profitability analysis across developers, banks, investor pools, and product features.

. Lead pricing and unit economics strategy.

. Evaluate new products/features using robust financial logic.

4. LMS Financial Logic

. Define all financial business rules for LMS (interest, amortization, penalties, fees, provisioning triggers).

. Partner with Product & Engineering to validate calculations and reporting logic.

. Ensure LMS financial outputs align with both FP&A models and Accounting's IFRS requirements.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

. Provide financial support to Product, Growth, Operations, and Engineering.

. Support CFO with board materials, investor presentations, and strategic initiatives.

. Work with Treasury to incorporate funding plans and capital requirements into forecasts (but not manage cash).

. 10+ years in FP&A in fintech, lending, banking, mortgage finance, or high growth companies.

. Deep financial modeling expertise.

. Strong understanding of lending economics, NPL dynamics, and risk adjusted returns.

. Experience working with product teams and financial systems.

. Familiarity with KSA regulatory and financial environment is an advantage.
