The FP&A team is responsible for company-wide management reporting, and partnering with the business to bring visibility, insights, and perspective to drive the company forward.


About the Position

The FP&A Financial Analyst, reporting to the VP of FP&A, is responsible for supporting consolidated financial reporting, improving processes & data management, leveraging financial systems, and ad-hoc projects to support FP&A and the company. Success in this role will be defined by the individual becoming the go-to for key financial reports and metrics, enabling faster reporting cycles and better visibility, and performing analysis to provide insights that help teams make better decisions to reach our ambitious company goals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support monthly financial reporting and the close process including accruals, report generation, variance analysis, and presentation materials for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board of Directors

  • Take ownership of and improve our core FP&A systems and data management

  • Drive outcomes and process improvements by partnering across the FP&A, Accounting, and cross functional teams

  • Key contributor to other core FP&A deliverables: monthly forecasts, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc projects across the business

    • Intellectual curiosity (ask why before asking what or digging in) and comfort with ambiguity
    • Strong communication and project management skills
    • Working knowledge of Accounting principles, general ledger and ERP dynamics, and Corp FP&A expectations
    • Prefer 3+ years of FP&A experience in a fast-paced or PE backed environment
    • Prefer Advanced technical skills in Excel including building models, developing dashboards & reporting outputs, and automating workflows
    • Prefer experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite and understanding of configuration of systems for data management & reporting, but more importantly the ability to learn new systems
    • Prefer Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
    • This role is not for you if you’d rather follow an SOP and not build one, you are overwhelmed by working with multiple teams or functions, or shy away from proactively solving problems
