Fractional Accounting Manager (Part Time- Senior Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a senior-level Fractional Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in a highly regulated environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who prefers part-time, high-impact work and enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering with leadership.

This is not an entry-level bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who can own the function.

What You’ll Own

• Monthly close process
• Financial statement preparation
• Inventory and COGS reconciliation
• Sales tax and regulatory reporting coordination
• Oversight of AP/AR processes
• Cash flow tracking and forecasting support
• Internal controls improvement
• Audit readiness and documentation
• Support for executive reporting

You will work directly with leadership and have visibility into operations.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years accounting leadership experience
• Experience as Accounting Manager, Controller, or similar
• Strong GAAP understanding
• Inventory-heavy or regulated industry experience preferred
• Cannabis experience a plus but not required
• Comfortable working independently

CPA preferred but not required.
