The Role: Why This Position Exists

We are seeking a Manufacturing Growth Evangelist / Industry Advisor who has lived inside the manufacturing ecosystem and can bring credibility, insight, and authority that no marketing team can fabricate.

This is not a marketing execution role.
This is an authority, strategy, sales, and credibility role.

You will help shape how Seota:

  • Speaks to manufacturers
  • Diagnoses manufacturing growth challenges
  • Positions itself within ERP and manufacturing ecosystems
  • Earns trust at the executive level

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in one or more of the following environments:

  • ERP vendors or integrators (e.g., Epicor, Prophet 21 (P21), NetSuite Manufacturing, SAP Business One, SYSPRO)
  • Manufacturing technology consulting
  • Industrial software sales or solutions engineering
  • Manufacturing process improvement or digital transformation roles
  • Manufacturing associations or industry groups

You understand:

  • How manufacturers actually buy
  • Where growth breaks down
  • Why ERP systems become both a constraint and an opportunity
  • Why most agencies fail with manufacturers

Core Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Authority & Credibility

  • Validate and refine Seota’s manufacturing growth frameworks and diagnostics
  • Ensure Seota’s messaging reflects real-world manufacturing realities
  • Help position Seota as a trusted partner to manufacturing executives

2. ERP & Systems Insight

  • Sales workflows
  • Marketing visibility
  • Distributor relationships
  • Quoting, pricing, and lead handling
  • Help identify integration-driven growth opportunities
  • Ensure Seota’s offerings align with how manufacturers actually operate

3. Manufacturing Growth Diagnostics & Frameworks

  • Help shape Seota’s proprietary manufacturing diagnostic tools and assessments
  • Ensure scoring models, questions, and insights are relevant and credible
  • Provide perspective on benchmarks, maturity stages, and growth blockers
  • Help translate operational challenges into executive-level insights

4. Strategic Input on Sales & Partnerships

  • Participate selectively in high-value manufacturing sales conversations (as an advisor)
  • Help refine Seota’s manufacturing value proposition for executive buyers
  • Advise on manufacturing partnerships, associations, conferences, and ecosystems
  • Open doors where possible through existing industry relationships

5. Thought Leadership & Market Presence

  • Contribute to manufacturing-focused thought leadership (content direction, not execution)
  • Help shape narratives for:
  • Manufacturing executives
  • ERP-centric organizations
  • Industry partners
  • Support Seota’s long-term positioning as an industry authority

What You Will NOT Be Responsible For

  • Closing deals
  • Managing client accounts
  • Running SEO, PPC, or marketing campaigns
  • Day-to-day execution
  • Producing content or social posts

Your value is insight, authority, and direction - not task execution.
