Framer/Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and concrete work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves constructing frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and other structures, ensuring they are built to specifications and standards.

Duties

• Construct and install wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors.
• Utilize power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively for framing tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Perform concrete finishing and forming as required for foundation work.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in plastering tasks as needed to finish surfaces.

Experience

• Proven experience as a carpenter or framer in the construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with concrete finishing and forming techniques is a plus.
• Proficient in operating power tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Experience in frame carpentry, including roof framing techniques is desirable.
