Framing Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and quality in every project. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from residential remodels to large-scale commercial developments. Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools and power tools, including wood, metal studs, and other materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing plans
• Erect additions to houses, frame, work with trusses and perform framing with precision and safety in mind
• Install concrete forms for foundations and walls, ensuring proper alignment and stability
• Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Perform rebar installation for reinforced concrete structures and assist with concrete finishing tasks
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency on the construction site

Skills

• Extensive experience in frame carpentry, including woodworking, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, stucco, and restoration projects
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions for construction projects
• Strong knowledge of metal building erection and masonry techniques
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
• Familiarity with construction management practices and site safety protocols
• Experience with plastering, roofing installation, siding work, remodeling projects, and construction site experience
