Position Scope
The Franchise Marketing Coach accelerates the success of new franchise partners by
guiding them through a structured onboarding process and helping them implement
effective marketing strategies from day one. This role is pivotal in ensuring that
franchise partners meet the required minimum monthly marketing spend of $1,500 and
quickly engage with PMI’s full suite of marketing tools—including the Digital Essentials
package—to build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive local market penetration.
Working closely with the Sales Coach and Business Coach teams, the Marketing Coach
develops integrated business, sales, and marketing plans tailored to each franchise
partner’s specific goals. The position blends hands-on training, strategic planning, and
ongoing mentorship to help partners create sustainable marketing systems that deliver
measurable results.

Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000
Key Responsibilities
1. Franchise Partner Onboarding
- Guide new franchise partners through a structured marketing onboarding program to accelerate time-to-market and brand awareness.
- Provide hands-on training and support on PMI’s Digital Essentials package, CRM, and other marketing tools.
- Conduct one-on-one and group onboarding sessions to ensure partners understand and can execute core marketing tactics (social media, paid ads, online reputation, direct mail, etc.).
2. Integrated Business & Marketing Planning
- Collaborate with Sales Coach and Business Coach teams to co-create robust, data- driven business, sales, and marketing plans for each franchise partner.
- Advise on key performance indicators (KPIs), budget allocations, and campaign strategies to drive local lead generation.
3. Ongoing Coaching & Support
- Serve as the primary marketing advisor for new franchise partners during their first year of operations, including a 30/60/90-day initial action plan.
- Monitor partner progress, review analytics, and recommend optimizations to campaigns and marketing spend in collaboration with approved vendor partners.
- Offer best-practice guidance on local content creation, digital advertising, SEO, and reputation management.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Training
- Work with the network marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment of local and national campaigns.
- Partner with internal teams to refine onboarding processes and update training materials.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Support Specialist for tool-related troubleshooting.
5. Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership
- Stay abreast of digital marketing trends, franchise marketing innovations, and local market tactics.
- Provide feedback to the marketing leadership team to enhance PMI’s marketing systems and tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a coaching, training, or franchise marketing role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of digital and traditional marketing platforms (social media, paid search, online reputation, email automation, direct mail, CRM systems).
- Proven ability to develop marketing plans and train non-marketers in execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple partners and projects simultaneously.
