The Franklin Head Start Center is looking for a Center Director/Lead Teacher.

Plan and conduct an appropriate classroom utilizing the abilities of the staff, parents and volunteers to the fullest extent. The program must be in keeping with the performance standards, early childhood practices and the needs of the individual child as well as the group.

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and 2 years’ experience teaching young children.

NYS driver’s license, personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed.

40 hours per week.

Salary range $21.76-24.55 per hour DOE.
