Discovery Learning Center in McKinney is hiring, and we are looking for full time/part time Toddler room teacher. We are hiring for reliable, loving teacher.

Requirement:

Must be 18 years old and above with valid ID.

High School/ GED

Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred. DLC will provide all trainings required to work in childcare.

All compensations are based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Candidate must be able to follow and implement the daycare policies

Implement age-appropriate activities for Toddler/2's .
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for infant to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all children.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

Potty Training
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation strategies for infant aged children.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the changing needs of young learners.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs and goals.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations.

Skills

  • Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
  • First aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
  • Ability to engage effectively with children through play-based learning activities.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with parents, colleagues, and children.
