Freelance 2d Animator

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven 2D Animator who can independently manage animation projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should possess strong storytelling abilities and be proficient in every stage of the animation pipeline — from interpreting scripts to designing characters, props, and backgrounds, and executing final animated sequences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and visualize scripts into compelling animated videos.
• Design and develop original 2D characters, props, and backgrounds tailored to each project’s style and tone.
• Create storyboards and animatics to present the animation flow and visual narrative.
• Execute full animation cycles including roughs, clean-ups, coloring, and compositing.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality animations that align with project guidelines and storytelling objectives.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters and sound designers when necessary, while maintaining creative autonomy.
• Take full ownership of projects, managing deadlines and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio showcasing character design, scene composition, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent tools.
• Strong drawing skills with a good grasp of anatomy, perspective, and color theory.
• Ability to create and maintain consistent visual style and tone throughout a project.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and self-organization.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
