The candidate will produce well-structured, technically accurate, and academically acceptable writing based on advanced engineering methodologies, suitable for university and research standards.

Master’s or Ph.D. (ongoing or completed) in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Risk Management, or related field

Exposure to academic research, publications, or thesis writing is highly preferred

MLD and FTA diagramming software

Reliability/risk analysis tools

Academic writing tools (MS Word / LaTeX) and reference managers (Mendeley)

Experience in developing probabilistic risk assessment documentation or technical safety reports

Hands-on experience with MLD and Fault Tree Analysis modeling

Experience in academic research writing, journal-style formatting, or engineering thesis development

Experience in integrating human, technical, and organizational risk factors into risk modeling

Strong technical understanding of process safety, explosion risk assessment, BLEVE, loss of containment, and mitigation strategies

Knowledge of probabilistic methods (FTA, MCS, importance measure analysis, sensitivity analysis, PRA/QRA)

Familiarity with safety standards and frameworks (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, SIS, API, CCPS, OSHA, CSB)

Ability to produce academic-quality writing with clarity, coherence, and correct citation practices

Strong command of English academic writing, argument structuring, paraphrasing, and critical analysis.

Develop academic-quality content in process safety, probabilistic risk modelling, FTA, and MLD frameworks

Build clear and technically accurate descriptions of industrial explosion scenarios and risk pathways
