Freelance Accountant

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freelance Accountant to support our company’s financial and accounting activities on a flexible basis in Ghala,Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting practices and be able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and review financial records and accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Handle bank reconciliations
• Assist with VAT preparation and filing (Oman VAT regulations)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with local financial and tax regulations
• Coordinate with management on financial matters

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant (freelance or full-time)
• Knowledge of accounting standards and Oman VAT laws
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Based in Muscat (preferably Ghala or nearby)
