Freelance Associate Designer

Job Description:

· This is a position to assist VP of design in development of the line.

· Assist in fittings and in creating tech packs with fit comments for the line development.

· Create tech packages including embellishment layouts, print placement, etc.

Job Requirements:

· Must be efficient with Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator to create Tech-packs and Embellishment layouts

· Experience with Tech pack development and spec knowledge

· Working knowledge of the apparel design, garment construction and development process

· Efficient in sketching by hand and on a computer

· Must be very detail oriented and organized

Experience:

· Min. 1-2 years of experience in design

· Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design

· Experience in dresses is a plus.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $170.00 per day
