Freelance Brand Video Content Creator

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Zia Tile is a boutique tile brand headquartered in Los Angeles, with tile produced by artisans around the globe. We are hiring a freelance brand Videographer/Editor to conceptualize, capture and edit video campaigns and brand assets for advertising, social media, and more. This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and editing video content that brings our tile collections to life in both classic footage and innovative campaigns, working both independently and collaborating with other members of our creative marketing team. Opportunity for a full-time role.

DUTIES

• Plan and execute video shoots at Zia’s warehouse/studio and on location
• Drive creative concepting and direction for content creation across website, social channels, advertising, and more
• Capture high-quality footage of tile materials, textures, and finished installations 
• Should be comfortable operating lighting for most standard shoots
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual language that reflects the Zia Tile brand aesthetic
• Edit footage into polished final deliverables: video ads, social content, website hero videos, product spotlights, and more
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team on content calendars and campaign concepts
• Manage raw footage organization, file storage, and asset library upkeep

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have expertise creating video content for brands, social media, and digital marketing
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
• Strong cinematography fundamentals — lighting, framing, focus
• Experience with both product-focused and lifestyle video work
• Motion graphics basics (After Effects a plus)
• Solid color grading and sound skills
• Experience operating a gimbal
• Highly organized and communicative, able to communicate and manage project timelines
• Must have a reel or portfolio to share
• Must live in Los Angeles, CA and have your own car
• Role is hybrid between project locations and home, where editing may occur

• Drone experience
• Basic still photography skills for hybrid shoots
• Familiarity with paid social ad specs and formats
