Job Summary
GENROSE Stone + Tile is seeking a talented Freelance Cabinet DesignerCabinet dynamic team. This remote position offers the flexibility to work independently while contributing to innovative interior design projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for aesthetics, and experience in cabinetry, remodeling, and interior design. As a Freelance Cabinet Designer, you will collaborate with GENROSE teams to create functional, stylish, and customized cabinetry solutions that enhance living and commercial spaces.

Duties

• Develop detailed cabinet designs using CAD software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or 2020 Design by Cyncly.
• Create compelling visual presentations utilizing 2020 / Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to understand their needs, preferences, and project scope, including remodeling and renovation requirements.
• Prepare accurate construction drawings, specifications for viewing and installation.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist in budgeting and pricing estimates for cabinetry projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Incorporate lighting design principles and color theory into cabinetry plans to optimize aesthetic appeal.
• Review and ensure compliance with project specifications and client expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to lighting sales, interior design, construction techniques, and remodeling best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in 2020, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and other drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for visual presentations.
• Experience with 3ds Max or similar 3D rendering tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of CAD drafting standards and interior design principles.
• Knowledge of color theory, lighting design, renovation processes, and construction methods.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
• Ability to interpret and manage project budgets efficiently.
• Familiarity with sales strategies and remodeling processes is advantageous. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
