Freelance CAD Designer

The Freelance Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality designs that meet project specifications and client expectations. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.
• Create detailed designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Develop 2D animations and schematics to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Produce mechanical designs and drafting documentation for construction projects.
• Utilize NavisWorks, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for advanced design tasks.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.

Skills

• Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, NavisWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction processes.
• Experience in creating schematics and drafting technical drawings.
• Ability to produce high-quality 2D animations that enhance design presentations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in all work produced.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.

Job Type: Part-time
